Author John DeDakis headed back to D.C. yesterday after a book-signing event at Barnes & Noble in Santa Monica. The week-long tour included appearances at bookstores in San Diego and Los Angeles, as well as a talk at Sunrise Senior Living about overcoming life’s challenges.

It’s an interesting segment in which John DeDakis explains how he gets into character writing as young journalist Lark Chadwick, the protagonist in his mystery-suspense series (Fast Track, Bluff, Troubled Water).

John is a former Senior Copy Editor for CNN’s, The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. In addition, he is a journalist and former White House Correspondent who interviewed President Reagan, Alfred Hitchcock and many others.
