Whoosh! Were those F/A-18 Fighter Jets or was that your tee shot? It might be the sound of time flying by before it’s too late to register for the “Sound of Freedom” Charity Golf Scramble on base at MCAS Miramar, Friday, October 13, 2017.
This Marine Corps Aviation Association event promises to be star-studded with special guests, including Scott Huesing, USMC (Ret), author of Echo in Ramadi, Marines and veterans, Pros Fore Charity, Chris Brake Photography, games, raffle items and more!
Proceeds will benefit Travis Manion Foundation, The Wingman Foundation, Operation Boomerang and Semper Fi Fund, all of which support Marines, injured veterans and their families.
The 18-hole shotgun start kicks off at 10:00 a.m. with registration opening at 8:00 a.m. All winners and major sponsors will be recognized in a short reception at the conclusion of the tournament where prizes, raffle items and silent bid items will be presented.
Your support is critical to the success of this event. Our mission is to raise $150,000.

Bobbi Carducci is the author of Confessions of an Imperfect Caregiver, an intimate account of her experience as an in-home caregiver for her father-in-law for seven years.
Bobbi will present Prepare To Care – What Adult Children Need to Know About Alzheimer’s/Dementia Before and After It Strikes Home, Wednesday, August 30th from 10:00a.m. – 11:30a.m. at Insight Memory Care Center.

The Marine Corps Aviation Association (MCAA) Charity Auction and Golf Scramble to benefit Semper Fi Fund raised more money this year than ever before. We’re talking big time six figures! This would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and private donors. To everyone who worked hard to make this event a success – our heartfelt thanks.
